Friezes
On this cupola of the Fortress Amber (about 1500-1727, Jaipur, India) we can compare two friezes that at first sight appear very similar from the point of view of symmetry. Indeed, they are very different: in the top there's a frieze of type 2*∞, in the bottom a frieze of type *∞∞.
