A surface of genus 3
From the topological point of view, this sculpture on the lake in Hamburg represents a surface of genus 3, that can be seen as a doughnut with 3 holes, or as a sphere with 3 handles attached. You can see it from another point of view, from which it is more difficult to recognize.
