A rosette
This drawing has been used for an exhibit of Simmetria, giochi di specchi - Symmetry, playing with mirrors, in which visitors are asked to find out the symmetry axes of given drawings like this one. In this case, there are no symmetry axes; however we dispose the figure under a mirror, we can't reproduce the image with a half of the drawing and its reflection.
