Heliconia flower
A hint of frieze with glide reflection symmetry in the structure of the inflorescence of this Heliconia sp., an exotic plant belonging to the family of the Heliconiaceae.
It is the same structure of the footprints left by a walking with a normal, regular gait. Obviously, we can't say that the inflorescence has a symmetry of glide reflection, because it should be extended endlessly.
