A virtual octahedron in the kaleidoscope of the tetrahedron
One of the five regular polyhedra, the octahedron, reconstructed, in two colours, in the kaleidoscope of the tetrahedron: the symmetry group of the octahedron is the symmetry of the cube, but the symmetry group of the octahedron with this colouring is the symmetry group of the tetrahedron.
You can see a different polyhedron in the same kaleidoscope or another polyhedron in a different kaleidoscope.
From the exhibition Symmetry, playing with mirrors.
