A bicoloured stella octangula in the kaleidoscope of the tetrahedron
A bicoloured stella octangula in the kaleidoscope of the tetrahedron: the symmetry group of the stella octangula is the symmetry group of a cube, but the symmetry group of the stella octangula with this colouring is that of the tetrahedron.
You can see another photo of the same polyhedron; or a different polyhedron in the same kaleidoscope or another polyhedron in a different kaleidoscope; you can also compare this photo with a photo of the stella octangula reconstructed in the kaleidoscope of the cube.
