Instructions

The light grey polygon positioned in the centre of the page represents a mirror box. This mirror box can take on different shapes: choose one of them from the top buttons and then drag one of the available figures from the left onto the mirror box.

When you click on a figure its colour changes and a small dot appears over one of the vertices; if you then click on the dot and move the mouse, you can resize or rotate the selected figure. In a similar way you can resize or rotate the mirror box.

You can draw your own mosaic or try to reproduce one of these:

Further information

When you place a shape in the mirror box you form a mosaic. The light grey area represents the basic module that will be repeated (decorated also by the shapes you have placed) according to specific rules (the ones corresponding to the iterated reflexions in the mirror box) and will form the mosaic.
