A kaleidoscope
The kaleidoscope of the cube. The reflections on the mirrors of the triangular hole at the bottom of the kaleidoscope yields a virtual image of a sphere, which has the same triangular splitting schemes as the wooden sphere hanging above the kaleidoscope.
