This isn't a net of a hypercube
This construction of 8 cubes isn't one of the 261 possible nets of a hypercube. A net of the hypercube is a collection of eight cubes with some faces in common, disposed in such a way that they can "fold up" in the fourth dimension to form a cube. Would you like to see a real net of the hypercube? Or the 11 nets of the cube?
