Pentagons and hexagons

add to album

A golf ball is made out of pentagons and hexagons, three of them arriving in each vertex. The hexagons are many, more than 200, and in order to know exactly how many we should count them; instead, we can say immediately that the pentagons are 12, with no need to count them, as it happens also in a football: this is a consequence of Euler relation.
