A polyhedral bitorus

remove from album

A polyhedron that is homeomorphic to a bitorus, a surface of genus 2 that can be visualized as a doughnut with two holes or a sphere with two handles. For this polyhedron Euler’s relation does not hold. Instead we have: Vertices - Edges + Faces = -2

The image belongs to the sections...:
From "fragments of topology" (From "XlaTangente")
The double torus (Topology)
Euler relation (3D geometry)
Polyhedra of positive genus (3D geometry)
