A (3,4,3,4)
A cuboctahedron, which is a uniform polyhedron of type (3,4,3,4): around each vertex there is an equilateral triangle, a square, an equilateral triangle, and a square. You can reconstruct it between the mirrors of the kaleidoscope corresponding to the symmetry group of the cube.The dual polyhedron is the rhombic dodecahedron.
This picture has been used for the posters on polyhedra at the exhibition Simmetria, giochi di specchi - Symmetry, playing with mirrors.
