A rosette C4
A module that can be used to generate patterns (by translation of reflection in the sides of the square) in a Roman mosaic. The module is a rosette of type C4. In this poster of the exhibition matemilano you can see a pavement that is at the Domus dell'Ortaglia in Brescia and that can be obtained with this module. The original mosaic has no symmetry axes and can't be reproduced in a room of mirrors. The result is different if we put the module in a room of mirror.
