A hexagonal pavement
This hexagonal pavement suggests the idea of a regular tessellation in hexagons, it is an example of pattern *632. Indeed, as you can see from the photo, the different colouring of some tiles breaks the symmetry of the pattern and produces new elements of symmetry (here, a rose rosette with dihedral symmetry D6).
