Symmetry in a flag
The flag of Great Britain has a cyclic symmetry of type D2. At first sight, it seems an example of dihedral symmetry, but if we observe the white spaces at the sides of the diagonals, we notice that there are no symmetry axes, and a rotation of 180° sends the flag in itself.
