A chessboard
Circular or Byzantine chess, a game of war and strategy, derived from the ancient Indian game of Chaturanga, like the chess.
The chessboard has dihedral symmetry of type D8 (it is D16 if we don't consider the colouring), that is broken by the initial disposition of the pieces.
